Toothpaste To Travel With
Air travel has become very challenging since 9/11. One of the most frustrating problems we all face is having liquids or gels confiscated at a security checkpoint when we are traveling. This is because they do not meet the current 3oz. regulation. Many of our patients forget that a standard tube of toothpaste is too large and will be confiscated. To help with this problem we are providing travel size Crest toothpaste at every maintenance visit with the hygienist. Don't use Crest? Save them up for other members of the family or friends. It is sure to be appreciated.

Halloween and Your Teeth
Happy Halloween! Our dental team wants to remind you that the trick is often in the treat. After allowing your children to enjoy a moderate amount of candy, be sure they treat their teeth by brushing with fluoride toothpaste and flossing. It’s a good opportunity to talk about the role sugar can play in causing "scary teeth" and how important it is to care for teeth all year long. It is important to remember that it is the amount of time a sugar stays in contact with your teeth that determines it's "cavity causing" ability. A sticky candy is therefore much worse for your teeth than a dish of ice cream or pudding.
